Catching up!

Letscatchup-2 copy copy
Hello sweet friends! Hope the start of your week has been good thus far. This post is just a good ole' catch up of things that I've wanted to chat about and share.

Our days have been bundled up at home, sitting by a nice warm fire, and renting movies. Due to the extreme cold we are having, the children tend to go a bit stir crazzy inside the house every now and than, so my husband and I manage to get brave, throw on our winter coats and let the children take their new Christmas bicycles for a ride.

These are some darling shots of the kids on their bikes.

This past weekend I had the fun opportunity to join my sweet friends Kris Hurst ( BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! It was Kris' b-day that day!)  and Marilyn (not pictured) for a shopping day at the Atlanta Gift Mart.

It's overwhelming the amount of AMAZING vendors. Bethany Lowe, Cody Foster, MacKenzie Childs, and the list just goes on! We couldn't stop oohing and aaahing over the fabulous collections.

We definitely made a stop at Tinsel Trading. Kris, Me, and Marcia.

After paying Marcia a visit we bee lined it to see Ashley Carter of Goldbug Studio

I have been a HUGE fan of Ashley's work for years! She is such an inspiration to me. Her pieces are magical and whimsical and FULL of the most finest detail. I can stare at her ornate pieces in amaze and wonderment for hours. I met Ashley at the gift mart last year and we have since become great friends. She shares her journey how she got started in the industry, and always offers me terrific advice.

Ashley's studio was shot last year for Where Women Create and will be featured in one of this year's issues. Cant wait to see! Im even trying to talk Ashley into taking a mini vacation break from her studio to attend my event in Savannah and possibly be a vendor. Who knows???? A girl can dream…..We'll see! 😉

Now for a little shout out for my friend Cheryl of Back in the Day Bakery. She asked me to help spread the word that she will be on the Food Network Paula Deen show this Saturday 11:30am est time on an episode called "Brown Baggin' It"  Be sure to check it out. You'll get to see her in action making her famous cupcakes!

This piece sits in Miss Vivi's room. It's the perfect little night lite to use while she drifts off to sleep.

Also in the package was mini gumball machines for the kids, Christmas candy, and vintage seam bind and rick rack that I cant wait to use!

This last little treat in the package just tickled me. It's a vintage angel that looks like she is giggling. Vivi instantly claimed her. 🙂
