Dorothy, Power Ranger & the Fierce Pirate!

DSCN9160-1
Greetings! Trick or Treat! Did you have a Spooktacular Halloween? We sure did! Despite the icky rain, we made the best of it, and had a fabulous Halloween!

Grant went as a Power Ranger. As soon as he slipped on his costume, he immediatley performed his knock-out Power Ranger moves.

My little Vivi dressed up as Dorothy. Oh my heavens….she looked so so SWEET in her little braids, tights, and red sparkly shoes!

Unfortunately it rained on our big night so we had to wait patiently for the rain to subside.

I snatched this photo of Vivi looking out the window waiting for the rain to go away.

Happy to say, the rain lightend up and we headed out!

My wonderful dear friend Suzanne MacCrone, her husband Reg, and son Matthew have joined us trick or treating for the past 3 years. We've started somewhat of a fun tradition for the kids to trick or treat together.

Beautiful Suzanne.

Once we were finished making our door to door rounds it was time to go home and inspect our loot of candy. Yes, Mommy has to help inspect and grab a few of my fav's. hee! hee!

As expected I've found little trails of empty wrappers throughout the house.

Not only did the children have a fantastic time playing dress up and celebrating by eating of gobs of candy, Hubby and I also had the opportunity to have some fun by attending our friend and neighbor Terrell's "Night of the Living Sochilite" Halloween party.

I was Little Red Riding Hood and hubby the mean ole Bad Wolf.

P.S Man was step son scary!!! Lori

What a great Halloween- so many fun costumes- love the picture of Vivi holding her ruby red slippers waiting for the rain to end. I can almost hear her singing “rain rain go away”.

Looks like you all had a wonderful time. The kids are adorable! Are you sure the trails of candy wrappers were left by the kids…::cough:: ::cough::. I know I ate more than my fair share of candy yesterday.

Jenn….what a wonderful halloween you all had!! I adore the black and white pictures of beautiful Viv with the colored shoes. The one of her and her daddy should win an award…absolutely gorgeous.

I just love your blog! This is my first time commenting. I had just had to comment when I saw your little Vivi looking out of the window waiting for the rain to stop. It looked like a picture from The Cat In The Hat. I’m so glad the rain stopped and the kiddies got to have their fun. :0)
