Halloween Candy Colored DIY Wreaths

Countdown to Halloween is on!

I am thrilled to be celebrating our first Halloween in our new home.

I decided to go with a pastel theme this year with my Halloween decor. I’ve been super inspired by the famous London Bakery Peggy Porschen Cakes. Every season they decorate their famous doorway with touches of whimsy and tons of beautiful flowers! It’s become one of the most photographic spots ever! It’s stunning and I can’t wait to visit there one day!

After seeing this photo I decided to decorate my front doorway with double wreaths that are inspired by this amazing Halloween garland. This was an easy DIY project!

Off to go shopping! I found assorted sizes of skulls at Michaels for 40% off.

Next, I went to Walmart (best prices on spray paint!) and purchased these pretty pastel paint colors.

Time to paint the pumpkins and skulls!

Looking good fellas!

The wreath’s I purchased at JoAnn’s for 50% off. They got a pink makeover!

I painted the pumpkin stems a beautiful matte gold paint. I LOVE this product!

Time to get my glitter on!!!

Once all was glittered, I wrapped faux greenery garlands and flowers around the wire wreaths. Then, I used my hot glue gun and floral wire to attach the pumpkins and skulls. Lastly, I filled in with extra flowers, feathers, and tied big bows to the bottom.

I’m really happy with how they turned out!

Our skelly friend Sally has given me her boney nod of approval over the Halloween wreaths.

She’s ready to help pass out candy to all the ghouly boys and girls!

Just be warned….she likes to play silly jokes and throw her pumpkins aka dodgeball!

Thank you stopping by and visiting me. I hope you enjoyed this post.

If your in the neighborhood stop by and say Hello! Just watch for Sally. 😉

Happy Halloween Friends!

Have a spooktacular time!

xo,

Jenn
