Loves First Kiss

In between the major to-do list of planning my upcomming event I decided to spend Sunday afternoon creating a very special Valentines gift for a lovely friend who has been so kind and good to me.

It's a simple candy box that I dumped all the candy out of (well…I did eat a few pieces. hee! hee!) Than I adorned the box with the perfect vintage music sheet, lace, gold doile trim, and the YUMMIEST pink mauve velvet trim that came all the way from M&J Trimming in NYC.

The cherub was a Christmas ornament that I purchased at Hobby Lobby. He was bronzy gold and he soon got a quick makeover into a pale pink Master of Love.

I gave him a bit of a regal look.

Im really pleased with how beautiful it turned out.  I hope my secret admirer friend will enjoy it at Valentines Day for many years to come.

Over the Christmas break I took advantage of the down time and made a few large Valentines Day gift tags. These tags are currently available in my Etsy shoppe.
