I am super excited to finally open registration for Once Upon a Christmas!
Since 2007 I have attended several amazing art workshop events from all over.
I have long lasting memories and friendships from these artful weekends that I will cherish forever.
I’m ready and excited to host my 4th event in beautiful historic Charleston, SC.
More good times and fabulous memories are waiting to be made!
Welcome to Charleston!
This charming city was founded in 1670 and is located on the coastline of the Charleston Harbor.
The harbor is located on an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean.
Known for its rich history, well-preserved architecture, distinguished restaurants, and mannerly people, Charleston has received a large number of accolades, including “America’s Most Friendly [City]” by Travel + Leisure in 2011 and in 2013 and 2014 by Condé Nast Traveler, and also “the most polite and hospitable city in America” by Southern Living magazine.
The city is filled with art galleries, museums, festivals, boutiques, cafe’s, restaurants,theater,outdoor activities, history and architecture.

Our storyland weekend begins with the arrival and check-in of all you lovely Angels. This is your time to be carefree and leave all your worries behind. You are in for a long pampering weekend of fun, friendship and pure artistic heaven!
Our creative playful weekend will take place at the historic Francis Marion Hotel.
Located on King Street. The heart of the historic district.

The evening begins with the Sugarplum Christmas Ball Welcome Reception and Vendor Market.
Embrace the holiday spirit by dressing in your festive Christmas gown, sweaters and holiday jewels.
I will be giving away a fabulous prized gift for best dressed and crowned Miss Sugarplum Queen!
We’ll enjoy a full evening dining on hor dourves, enjoying festive drinks, having your photos taken, and shopping from the many fabulous talented vendors.
After we’ve holiday shopped we’ll gather for an amazing food presentation and make and take craft.

The lovely Jennifer Grenko will be hosting the Christmas Make and Take project.
This evening will be a wonderful kick-off to our weekend!
Our second storyland day will be in the grand Colonial ballroom which will be transformed into a pastel sugary wonderland filled with twinkle lights, candy colored trees, sugary edible treats, and old fashioned Christmas tunes.
The day will start early and end at dusk while enjoying a full lunch, dinner, and dessert!
I am thrilled and honored to have these talented instructors join us for this artful weekend.
Their projects bring magic, joy, whimsy, and festive sweetness!
The hostess with the mostess and Queen of fun will host Saturday’s planned festivities!
I’m SO excited that the “Queen of Fun” is hosting our Saturday excursions.
Jessi is the hostess of our Horse & Carriage ride and Christmas Swaps.
Our Saturday day will be filled with taking in all the beauty, life and culture of Charleston.
A scheduled carriage ride tour with narrated guide will take us thru the charming cobblestone streets of Charleston giving us the history on the old well loved city.
You will be given a lunch voucher and the rest of your afternoon and evening will be exploring Charleston at your own leisure.
You will be given maps and guides to all the must see historic places, gardens, parks, as well as the antique shops.
I have a fabulous *extra bonus* for Saturday.
I am delighted to share that Candy Shop Vintage (specializes in vintage jewelry and vintage inspired) is hosting a shopping party exclusively for Once Upon A Christmas attendees on Saturday.
We’ll have champagne, snacks, gift bags and special discounts for everyone.

Shortly after registration, I will be setting up a private Once Upon A Christmas facebook and yahoo group.
This will be the perfect platform for us all to chat, organize swaps, find a roommate, coordinate travel options, get to know one another, and share in the excitement!

(Just a suggestion – on the registration page, you may want to add what is and is not included in the price, i.e., $590 is registration for the event only, including classes, meals, excursions, but does not include hotel, airfare, or other ground transportation….)
I deal with legal contracts all the time and don’t want you to have disappointed people!
