Once Upon an Easter
The getaway weekend will be filled with natures beauty, making pretty handmade treasures, friendships, and lots of pampering!
It’s with great excitement to host my 5th event in the breathtaking
Golden Isles of Jekyll Island, GA.
What a picture perfect setting for a boutique weekend retreat.
Fun times and wonderful memories are waiting to be made!
Welcome to Jekyll Island!
It is one of Georgia’s barrier islands, and is the smallest.
Jekyll Island is 9 miles long, and has 11 miles of beach.
Our storybook weekend begins with the arrival and check-in of all you lovely peeps.
Our creative weekend will take place at the historic Jekyll Island Club.
Step back in time…..
It’s one of the Historic Hotels of America.
The club is rich in history and where the Millionaires use to vacation.
In 1886 Jekyll Island was so secluded and private
that it became “The” social island of the country.
The exclusive, and elite Jekyll Island Club was completed in 1886 and only very selected
members could be part of the group.
The membership list included the names of the country’s industrial giants, and financiers,
such as J.P. Morgan, Rockefeller, Vanderbelt, Pulitzer, Crane, Goodyear, and many others.
The members and their guest came to the island between Christmas and Easter for over 50 years to vacation.

The hotel also offers a nice selection of restaurants and the perfect place to grab morning coffee and breakfast.

This is where we will be celebrating our Welcome Night/ Easter Ball/ Vendor Market
It’s a gorgeous property filled with green lawns, mossy oak trees, and a lovely breeze that comes off the
waterway several yards away.
Jekyll Island club has so much to see and do.
This event will be unlike others I have hosted in the past.
Not only is it an artistic retreat, but it’s also a vacation for the mind, body and soul.
Fresh air, natures beauty, calming waters will put you in a peaceful vacation state of mind.
It did it for me, and I know it will for you.
The evening begins with the Baskets & Bunnies Ball Welcome Reception and Vendor Market.
Dress up in your pastel spring gowns, and be ready to celebrate a fun evening
on the gorgeous grounds of Crane Cottage.
We will have the beautiful gardens to enjoy and shop the vendor market located inside the courtyard.
We’ll enjoy a full evening dining on hor dourves, enjoying festive drinks, having your photos taken, and shopping from the many fabulous talented vendors.
Your make & take will be decorating your very own Easter Basket!
I will have a table of pretty trimmings, ribbons, and flowers
to decorate and adorn your basket.
The basket you will use for the egg hunt on Saturday.
( I promise not to make it too big, so it will be easier for travel)
Our second Storybook day will be in the grand ballroom which will be transformed into a pastel spring Easter wonderland filled with flowers, bunnies, chicks, baskets, candy colored ribbons, pastel twinkle lights, and sugary edible confections.
Our day will start early and end at dusk while enjoying a full lunch, dinner, and dessert!
I am beyond thrilled and honored to have these talented instructors join us for this artful weekend.
Their projects bring spring beauty, whimsy, and festive sweetness!
I’m so excited over the class projects.
You will have the opportunity to alter them to your own personal style and taste!

She will be hosting the Easter Egg Scavenger hunt and Easter Swaps.
Easter egg hunt, High Tea, and portrait day!
It’s the perfect time to wear our Sunday best!
Wear your pretty dresses, floral hats, bonnets, and white gloves.
I will be giving away a fabulous prized gift for the best dressed and crowned Miss Sunday Best!
Our Saturday will be start with the Easter Egg Scavenger hunt.
Grab your baskets and get ready to find treat filled eggs!
This is not your traditional children’s hunt.
Eggs will be filled with the loveliest little vintage treasures.
There will be one prized golden egg to be found.
After our egg hunt we will enjoy a Victorian High Tea and decadent pastries, scones, and finger sandwiches in the main dining room.
Your never to old to have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
As a special memorable keepsake you will have your professional photo taken with the Easter Bunny.
A styled beautiful spring set will be the perfect backdrop.
The perfect way to end our day is with a relaxing private sunset Dolphin Tour boat cruise.
We will travel the scenic waterways and observe the dolphins feeding, playing, and swimming in their natural habitat.
The tour will take us around the intra coastal waterway, salt marshes and wilderness beaches.
Along with seeings Dolphins there are often sea turtles, manatees,egrets, herons
and many more natural wildlife.
After the tour you are on your own for dinner.
You can enjoy a nice dinner at the Warf while listening to live music with friends.
