Kicking back in 2011

Happy New Years!!!!!

I hope you all had a fabulous holiday and ringing in the New Year!

Hubby and I decided after a busy week of Christmas that we would relax, kick our feet up and enjoy the last week of the holiday season before he started back to work and the kids to pre-school.

Christmas decor is down and I am FINALLY getting a chance to enjoy some new books I got for Christmas, and some magazines that have been piling up on my bedside table.

This book was given to me from my secret santa. 😉

My Mother gave me this gorgeous book.

Our New Years night was pretty low-key and quiet, BUT the day was LOADS of fun!!!!

Miss Vivian and I had an invitation from Karla Nathan to meet her, her husband Rich, and granddaughter Sugarwings for lunch in Atlanta.

They were passing thru town and Rich had some business to attend to at Country Club of the South, so it worked out perfect that Vivian and I could drive up for the day.

It was such a happy treat to see the lovely Suzanne Duda joining us for the New Years Eve luncheon.

It was awesome to see them both. We had fun chatting and catching up!

Karla was so sweet to make both Vivian and Sugarwings sparkly tiaras to wear.

While waiting for the food the girls enjoyed coloring and sharing markers.

Of course the markers have glitter. 😉

After lunch Rich was sweet to give the girls a ride on a golf cart, and I was able to capture some CUTE shots of them together.

Instant friends!!!!

Im ready for 2011!

So many fun and exciting plans and projects for this year.

I will also pray for my families health in 2011. We are experiencing some scares right now with my In-laws and step-dad, so Im staying optimistic and hoping for the best with their health this year.
